School Council 2016/17 collected their prize!

The School Council 2016/17 entered a competition set by Worcester County Council Young Peoples Services and won! The prize was a visit to Kidderminster Fire Station, but it wasn’t just a visit – all the stops had been pulled out (along with the hoses)!

They had an amazing and very informative time and we can’t thank the White Watch team at Kidderminster Fire Station enough. The children received an amazing goodie bag with some wonderful gifts, one of them was a USB wristband. The children have had all the photos taken on the special day downloaded to ensure the inspiring memories will stay with them always.

The children were desperate to share their time at the fire station and therefore asked if they could make a PowerPoint and deliver it during an assembly. The audience were completely engaged and asked some very interesting and appropriate questions on fire and safety, which the School Council could answer due to their informative visit.

We would like to share the School Council’s PowerPoint  with you, so please click on the image below to view it.
