Here at Martley CE Primary School, we believe that Values based Education is at the heart of all learning. Guided by the Christian values that underpin our work here, we want every child, from a background of faith, or none to know that they will be nurtured, valued and cared for. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We believe that everyone is special, everyone is unique and everyone has their own wonderful talents to be nurtured and explored.
We love to be creative and use our imaginations. We also enjoy and excel at working as a team and cherish achievements of every individual, big and small!
We are set in picturesque rural locality in the heart of Martley village, with the local secondary school and superb sports facilities on our doorstep. We serve a wide geographical area, including Martley, Wichenford and Kenswick. We have up to 140 pupils on role in 5 mixed age classes. We also have an on-site nursery, breakfast and afterschool club.
We hope that you enjoy exploring our website and we really hope that it will inspire you to want to become part of our special school community. For those of you who already know us, please keep up to date with all our wonderful activities by looking on our Events page and Class pages. We hope that you will find our website useful, but it does not attempt to take the place of the vital personal contact between school and parents, which is essential for effective relationships to develop. We look forward to meeting with you in person very soon!
